Gail Cotton Silver graduated with honors from the University of Florida in 1988. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a major in Finance and a minor in English. While at UF, Ms. Silver played bass in the UF Jazz Band and served as Vice President and President of Delta Sigma Pi. In 1991, Ms. Silver received her Doctor of Jurisprudence, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. After being admitted to the Florida Bar in 1991, she began her career in the area of product liability litigation and handled hundreds of cases throughout the state of Florida. Other areas of her practice include general commercial litigation, real estate litigation, guardianship, and civil litigation. Ms. Silver is a member of the Florida Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Outside of the office, Gail enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, reading, gardening, and escaping the South Florida heat by going to her cabin in the North Carolina mountains.
